Magical Moments at the School for Wizards

The magic was in full swing as students arrived for a spellbinding day at the School for Wizards! Excitement filled the air as the Sorting Hat Ceremony assigned eager wizards-in-training to their houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin.

Each house embarked on a magical journey, visiting themed classrooms such as Olivander’s Wand Shop, Potions Class, Herbology in the story room, and Defense Against the Dark Arts. With roaming ghosts, "flying" owls, Wanted Wizard posters, and so much more, every corner of the school was alive with enchantment.

Throughout the day, students earned points for their houses by answering challenging wizard trivia. After fierce competition, Gryffindor emerged victorious and claimed the coveted House Cup!

If you missed this magical event, fear not! Class will be back in session on May 3, 2025, as the School for Wizards becomes an annual celebration across all Marine Corps bases in honor of Harry Potter Day. So, keep an eye out, wizards—Harry Potter Day celebrations are coming to a USMC base near you. Start studying your spells and potions and get ready for more magical fun!
