The Family Advocacy Program (FAP) is a multi-faceted, multi-disciplinary resource that is designed to address child abuse and domestic abuse within the Marine Corps community through prevention, intervention, and treatment. For immediate assistance, the National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233) provides lifesaving tools and support to enable victims to find safety and live lives free of abuse.
The Family Advocacy and Counseling Services Program is located in the Family Services Center located in Lincoln Military Housing. The program is staffed by qualified, licensed clinical staff, trained in family violence and able to provide counseling services upon request.
Education and Support services include skill building classes in Parenting School Age Children, Suicide Prevention, Anger and Stress Management, Couples/ Marriage Relationship.
Counseling services for Individuals, Couples and Families are provided as well as information and referrals to other resources in the area.
