This summer, Marine Corps MWR Libraries are focused on the power of gaming and how it brings people together. Programs for patrons of all ages centered around board games, video games, strategy, teamwork, and game design will be hosted on military bases worldwide. Summer reading activities encourage critical thinking, create a sense of community, and combat the “summer slide” of student skill loss when not in school.
Visit DoD Beanstack to find the summer reading program location nearest you and sign up to log your reading and earn prizes. Readers that are not located near a library can also participate in the DoD Virtual Summer Reading Program.
