MLK Pacific-Wide Basketball Tournament
Annually the biggest basketball tournament of the year! Open to men's and women's teams. The event includes a 3-Point shootout, Skills competition, and Dunk Contest.
Round Robin followed by Double Elimination tournament. The top 4 Teams in each pool advance to the Double Elimination Tournament. (Subject to change)
NCAA rules will apply as modified by the official By-laws or the Tournament Director.
Tournament Dates/Times: Jan 16-17, 2025, starting at 6 p.m., Jan 18-20, 2025, starting at 9 a.m.
Location: The tournament will be held at Camp Foster Field House.
Registration deadline: Teams must register on Eventbrite by 1 p.m. January 13, 2025.
Entry Fee: $400.00 per team
Off-island teams: Responsible for their transportation and lodging.
Team Roster: will be limited to 15 players and a coach.
Coaches Meeting: There will be a coach's meeting on Wednesday, January 15. The meeting will take place in Camp Foster's Ocean Breeze - Southern Breeze Room, starting at 1800 - TBD.
Awards: Team and individual awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finisher, plus All-Tournament Team, All-Tournament Coach, and MVP Awards in both the Men’s and Women’s Divisions. Skills Challenge, 3-Point Contest, and Slam Dunk Contest will award Champion and Runner-up.
