Heartbreak Ridge Run®

Join us for this iconic Trail Run held at the Home of the 11th Marines on Camp Pendleton. The race offers multiple distance choices including a SuperHero Kids Run and features the famous Heartbreak Ridge Hill climb.

Heartbreak Ridge Run® is the first race of the 2025 Tactical Triad™ and our brand new SURVIVE THE FIVE™. Run in three of our five trail runs to receive a newly designed Tactical Triad medal. If you run ALL five Races, you will receive a custom Survive the Five™ t-shirt!

The Five Races are, Heartbreak Ridge Run®, Run to the Radar™, Oscar Mike Hill Challenge™, Buffalo Alley Trail Run™ and Tun Tavern Ten®. Tactical Triad™ Medals will be handed out after you complete your 3rd race. Survive The Five™ t-shirts will be given out at Tun Tavern Ten® in Nov.

Finish Line
All runners will receive nutrition, hydration, sponsor items and a finisher medal.
Super Hero Kids also receive a superhero cape at check-in.

Directions
Las Pulgas entrance
From Interstate 5, take the Las Pulgas exit and head east towards the Las Pulgas gate. Continue on Las Pulgas for 4-miles until you reach Camp Pulgas (43 Area)

Main Gate entrance
From the main gate, stay on Vandergrift for about a mile until you reach Stuart Mesa/Ash Road. Turn LEFT and proceed North 7-miles to Las Pulgas Road, turn RIGHT and continue 4-miles to reach Camp Pulgas (43 Area)

RULES
Absolutely no headphones/ear buds allowed
Service and working dogs only in the venue
No dogs allowed on the course due to rough/rocky terrain
No Strollers allowed on the course
For safety purposes, please adhere to the age limits
Event held rain or shine (unless deemed unsafe)
Pendleton Races has the right to modify the course if necessary for safety or base training exercises
Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable
All competitors must be off the course by 11:15am
