Family Advocacy - Free Movie "Inside Out 2"

The Family Advocacy Program proudly presents a free screening of the Disney film "Inside Out 2". Doors open at 9:30 AM. Open to all SOFA Status members and no registration required.

"Inside Out 2" touches on themes of emotional development, navigating complex feelings, and transitioning through life’s stages, particularly adolescence. These themes can resonate with child abuse prevention in several ways: emotional awareness, empathy & support, importance of safe spaces, normalizing difficult emotions, and building resilience. 

By fostering emotional awareness, empathy, and safe environments, both the themes in "Inside Out 2" and child abuse prevention efforts can work together to promote healthy emotional development and protect children from harm.
