Volunteer Opportunity: Food Pantry Community Support Coordinator

Position: Neighborhood Pantry - Camp Butler: Community Support Coordinator (CSC)

Position available until filled. (Opened February 12, 2025)

Duties

Coordinate with community partners for food drives/meetings/tabling events to include:

• Food Drives - act as the main POC, provide host with list of needed items, provide signage, logos, flyers, coordinate media
• Tabling Events - arrange volunteers and materials to attend community events such as information fairs, family outreach events, unit briefings
• Yen Wars Fundraising events - coordinate with schools to organize kickoff, collection schedule, after party, follow-up 
• Sidewalk Sales - coordinate dates/times of events with base commissaries, organize preparation and volunteers
• Pantry Outreach - coordinate Typhoon kits, Holiday Kits, and other special give-outs
• Maintain Donation Calendar spreadsheet

Attend in-person/virtual weekly staff meetings

Time
5-10 hours/week - based on own availability and scheduled events

Location
Work from home; attend community events as scheduled

Minimum Age
18+
